What to look at

  • The haldi. Long lenses and fast shutter in the middle of the chaos, so faces stay sharp while the colour flies.
  • The varmala. One frame, timed to the confetti, that tells the whole ceremony.
  • The sangeet. Black-and-white for the stage and pyro, full colour for the dance floor.
